“I wish we had started with ADD Focus Coach earlier! Our child almost failed out of college until they started working with their ADD Focus Coach. The coach understands the executive function challenges that come with ADHD and works with them to set goals and reach them. Proud to say our kid is still in college and improving with every semester. Do this. Sign up right now. You will wish you did this years ago.”
“My son went off to Boston for his freshman year, and we were hoping that the transition would go well. By the third week of the term, we learned that his ADHD was undermining his performance in several of his courses. Missing assignments, missed classes, and lower grades than we all were used to from high school. We weren’t sure how this was going to work out, and we felt like we didn’t want to be micro-managers from afar. We contacted ADD Focus Coach a few weeks ago and the situation has turned around so dramatically. His coach has sessions with him on FaceTime about three times during the week. They go over his schedule, discuss his upcoming assignments, and develop plans so that he stays on top of all of his work. According to our son, his coach is the nicest person and is always encouraging (and keeping track of him!). He gets texts from her in the mornings so he knows that someone is always in his corner. Having a coach like this has made all the different in the world. I’m also grateful for Dr. Meyers for helping us set everything up — he responded right away to me and has answered every single question that I had about this process.”
“We spent years not understanding how to crack the executive functioning (EF) mystery that is the brain of our child who has ADHD. Their ADD Focus Coach has helped them be successful in college in ways that we as parents never figured out. Our coach understands how to help people with ADHD manage their lack of EF, connects easily with our student, and collaborates with us to ensure our student’s continued success. College would not be possible for our student without their ADD Focus Coach. No, really, they get what you don’t get about your kid. Best college investment we could have made for our student.”
“The ADHD coaching our son received during his college years was invaluable! The support was personalized to meet his unique needs and changed over the course of his 4 years in college. The best part was he and we appreciated not having to always be the one managing and nagging him to get his school work done! The coach builds a relationship with the student, coordinates a plan, and deals with the unexpected challenges the ADHD student brings them. Using weekly video calls, and even multiple texts the student to remind them of what is due as needed, this was a life saver for our family! A huge thank you to his coaches Richa and Abby for doing a great job. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering support services!”
“I’ve worked with Max over the past 8 + months to help improve my attention and focus. I’ve tried a variety of self help books and another coach in the past but often found the advice to be too general and struggled to implement it. Max is great at taking broad strategies and helping you to determine the best tactical way to implement them in your life. In addition, he’s helped me stay consistent with the new techniques I’ve implemented and came up with alternatives for the techniques that weren’t working well for me. This has led to a significant improvement in multiple parts of my life. I would highly recommend Max for others who are struggling with similar issues.”
“Do it. Don’t think twice. Steve and his team saved our son and got him on track- gave him self confidence and support, skills, direction. Thank goodness we found them so absurdly randomly! We will use them to get our son through the next two years. The best and if you are on the fence don’t be- these folks will take care of your child. And you and your family will be happy you did it.”
“Our family used ADD Focus Coaching for 2 of our daughters who both have ADHD. Both struggled with different issues when they began college (such as organizing longer research projects, taking notes, keeping up with out of class reading, and test taking skills), but really wanted to be successful in their chosen majors. They especially appreciated the extra accountability provided by their coaching sessions as well as the organization and time management skills they earned while working one on one with their coach Sydney. Sydney was fantastic with tailoring her coaching to each girl’s individual needs, strengths/weaknesses, and educational goals. She also helped with overall encouragement and teaching them how to advocate better for themselves with their professors. Sydney was great with communication to my husband and me through regular check-ins and by answering our questions. Our older daughter is now graduated and working full-time in her degree field. Our second daughter is a senior in college this year (set to graduate in May), and regularly gets praise and compliments from her professors, All in all, we had a great experience with ADD Focus Coaching and would recommend them (and especially Sydney!) for any student struggling with the transition to higher level classes and college life.”
“Mark has been an invaluable resource in my success. He has managed to build a relationship between me and him that has allowed me to be honest with him about work and has made me feel comfortable in contacting him. We are able to comfortably talk about life and school in general, allowing me to explain any sort of situation. He has consistently shown up ready for sessions on time, and assisted in my own scheduling issues. I am incredibly privileged to be able to afford the incredible services that Mark has provided over the years.”
“Our son Daniel was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 5 years old. He’s now in college and, through ADD Focus Coach, has been working with Abby since the start of 2021-2022 school year. We’ve been very happy with Abby’s guidance, patience, and communication. She’s helped Daniel organize his schoolwork and helped him understand when it’s best to communicate with professors and instructors to self-advocate. He’s comfortable with Abby and appreciates the help she is offering. She’s met with us all several times a year to make sure we’re all on the same page and to discuss goals. Daniel has certainly benefited from ADD Focus Coach; I would recommend them to anyone whose child with ADHD and executive function struggles is transitioning from the more hands-on teachers and programs of high school into college.”
“When preparing my son for college, I realized he needed extra support to develop his executive function skills, particularly with managing deadlines and personal responsibilities. After speaking with Lauryn, I knew she would be the perfect fit – combining encouragement with accountability. Within a month, I asked her to work with my daughter as well. I particularly appreciate how Lauryn adapted her strategies to suit my children’s different personalities, providing them with the tools they need to manage their ADHD effectively. Lauryn’s genuine care for my children’s success is evident in her consistent check-ins, her proactive search for beneficial resources, and her ability to hold them accountable while remaining upbeat and supportive. She has helped them identify areas for improvement and empowered them to reach their full potential.”
“Having an ADHD coach is the best gift. Arwa taught my daughter new skills while being supportive. My daughter finished her work because there was a coach waiting for her to complete her work. Once new habits are formed the student can fly toward success.”
“We had tried several ways to help our child and Mark was the first person who truly understood our kid and was able to help them navigate school and equipped them with ideas on how to stay organized and motivated through the most intense times of their studies. Our experience was so good that we also had our youngest child start working with them as well. After a year of coaching our youngest gained the skills to begin working on their own and succeeding in ways they never had before. We are forever grateful for Mark and Dr. Meyers, they made college a much better experience for our family. We cannot recommend them enough!”
